I’m Blake Anderson—a runner, music-lover, weekend videographer, and Registered Social Worker with 13+ years of clinical experience helping individuals, couples, and families heal from narcissistic abuse and dysfunctional dynamics. When I’m not guiding clients, you’ll likely find me training for my next 10K, shooting city-scape footage, re-reading a favorite depth-psychology text under a maple tree in the Beaches, or diving into films and philosophy for inspiration.

As someone who's navigated my own scapegoat role in a narcissistic family—I deeply understand the isolation, self-doubt, and emotional flashbacks that come with these wounds. You're not alone in feeling unseen or blamed; I've been there, and it's why I'm committed to empathetic, truthful support that honors your journey toward greater cohesion.

My Clinical Niche

  • Dysfunctional or narcissistic family systems (scapegoat, golden-child, no-win roles)
  • Post-narcissistic-abuse recovery in romantic partnerships and co-parenting
  • Anxiety, depression, and grief that often accompany complex trauma

How I Help

I blend Bowen Family Systems (differentiation & genograms) with Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, CBT reframing, and evidence-based Gottman Method tools. Sessions are insight-oriented and skills-driven: We might map a generational trauma triangle one week, then rehearse boundary scripts or craft a 12-week goal the next—all tailored to foster calm amid chaos, rewrite limiting beliefs, and integrate shadows for heroic growth. Drawing from my estrangement, I create a safe space where empathy meets rigor—helping you feel seen, understood, and empowered to thrive.
